Provide strategic communications and digital content to grow AOP’s profile as both a visitor attraction and cultural institution. Objectives included increasing visitor numbers, strengthening public engagement, and promoting seasonal events.
-
Our team delivered an integrated content and communications strategy combining social media management, short-form video, influencer partnerships, PR and event promotion. Content focused on making complex scientific themes accessible and engaging for families, tourists and educators.
A strong emphasis was placed on visual content, particularly video and photography, to showcase the visitor experience and bring the attraction to life. Influencer collaborations and media partnerships were used to extend reach beyond core audiences and attract new visitor segments.
The campaign has delivered consistent year-on-year growth in digital engagement, with over thirty percent increases recorded. Armagh Observatory and Planetarium now receive over one hundred media placements annually across major broadcasters and national press and has significantly expanded its visitor base across domestic and tourist markets.
This project demonstrates the ability to manage long-term content programmes for visitor attractions, build audiences through storytelling and deliver measurable digital growth.
